For that reason we’ve redefined the tennis lesson into an overall sports training class. Rather than juggling to squeeze them both into your schedule, we’ll provide you with the opportunity to improve your tennis game as well as your overall health. In a clinic, you will run an average of 3.2 miles and burn an average of 1,000 calories. These results, combined with our instruction, has given Strand players the tools to get on the court with friends and not feel frustrated, and even advance in their match and league play. Our philosophy is backed by studies that prove on-court fitness elicits, not only improve high performance cardiorespiratory health, but also game-specific endurance.
