What Is Your Pickleball Level?

Pickleball Level 2.0 – 2.5 (Beginner) 

• 2.0 (Beginner): Knows the rules and scoring but may need reminders. Focuses on getting 50% of serves in, basic mobility, and keeping the ball in play, though rallies are short.

• 2.5 (Advanced Beginner): Understands basic positioning, such as moving to the kitchen line, and can sustain short rallies. Serves are more consistent, and they can hit basic forehands and some backhands.

Pickleball Level 3.0 – 3.5 (Intermediate) 

• 3.0 (Intermediate): Understands fundamentals, keeps score, and sustains longer rallies. Gets serves in consistently and is beginning to use a third-shot drop to approach the net.

• 3.5 (Advanced Intermediate): Demonstrates increased consistency, controls pace with better shot selection, and uses a variety of shots. They can effectively dink, move to the net quickly, and place serves and returns with more depth.

Pickleball Level 4.0 (Advanced-Intermediate) 

• 4.0 (Advanced-Intermediate): Plays with consistent, high-percentage control (about 90% of serves/returns in). Possesses strong technical skills, including consistent dinking, attacking high balls, and executing third-shot drops. They use strategy, such as intentionally targeting an opponent's weak side and controlling rallies to force errors.
